How to Change Background Images

First, log into your website so that you can see the black bar at the top of your website. 

Now, there are three places on your site where you may see (or want to add) background images, and each has a slightly different process.

The very first background image on your home page:

1. To change the very first background image on your home page, click on “Enable Visual Builder” at the top.
2. Click on the purple circle at the bottom.
3. In the lower left-hand corner, click on the second icon from the left. (When you hover over it, it will say “Wireframe View.”)
4. In the very first blue bar at the top, click on the gear icon to open the section settings.
5. In the settings that open, scroll down to click on the Background tab. Click on the picture icon (third from the left) and click on the gear icon on the picture.
6. In the box that pops up, you have the option to change the picture with one in the media library, one uploaded from your device, or a URL address.
7. When you’re happy with the changes you’ve made, click on the green checkmark and then click “Exit Visual Builder.”

The header background image on other pages (not the home page):

1. Once on the page where you want to change the header background image, click on “Enable Visual Builder.” When you hover over the background image, you’ll see that it’s inside a green section labeled “Edit Header Template.” That means if you change this background image, it will change on ALL the pages of your site that use that header template.
2. If you still want to change the image, click anywhere inside the green box. Click on the gear icon in the blue bar to open the section settings.
3. In the settings that open, scroll down to click on the Background tab. Click on the picture icon (third from the left) and click on the gear icon on the picture.
4. When you’re happy with the changes you’ve made, click on the green checkmark and then click “Exit Visual Builder.”

Adding/changing a normal background picture:

1. Once on the page where you want to change the background image, click on “Enable Visual Builder.”

1. Hover over the area where you want to add the background image, and click on the gear icon in the blue bar to open the section settings.
2. In the settings that open, scroll down to click on the Background tab. Click on the picture icon (third from the left) and click on “Add Background Image.”
3. When you’re happy with the changes you’ve made, click on the green checkmark and then click “Exit Visual Builder.”
